Approving tokens

You give permission to your smart contract to interact directly with your chosen tokens.

Token approval needs to be performed only once per token, per administrator.

If you would like to use a token that is not listed in the dropdown box, please reach out to support@hellofranklin.co with the requested token and its address. Franklin performs a whitelist check that may take up to 1 business day to complete.

Note - Franklin is a gasless platform for running payroll; however, approving tokens is the only action that requires the administrator to pay for gas themselves.

To approve your tokens:

  1. In the Deposit/withdraw section of your Franklin Dashboard, choose a currency token in the drop-down menu.

  1. Click Deposit.

  2. Confirm the approval in your wallet.
