How do I switch over from Gusto?

Franklin makes migrating from Gusto a breeze!

If you have NOT run payroll on Gusto this calendar year:

In this scenario the migration process is streamlined and you can sign up to franklin at www.hellofranklin.co/sign-up without needing to migrate any payroll information since it is a new tax year.

If you've run payroll on Gusto this calendar year:

  1. Go to www.hellofranklin.co/sign-up

  2. When adding your organization's information, respond "Yes" to the question "Are you migrating from another payroll provider?"

    1. You can also send an email to support@hellofranklin.co if you'd like to discuss before onboarding

  3. The Franklin support team will reach out to you to begin the migration process during which the Franklin team will:

    1. Export your existing payroll data from Gusto

    2. Import this data into Franklin

    3. Configure your organization

  4. While the Franklin team migrates your data, you can continue the onboarding flow and follow the setup tasks outlined

  5. Run payroll! With Franklin's white glove migration process, we'll have you migrated in time to run your next payroll run with Franklin.
